Do you charge a design fee?
No, our design consultations are no obligation and free of charge. Plans and proposals remain property of Linnell Furniture until an order is placed.
How long is a design visit?
Your design visit will last approximately 1 hour based on 1 room. If you have multiple rooms then please allow an extra 30 minutes per extra room.
What is a design visit and how do I make an appointment?
You can make a design visit appointment by calling us on 0203 123 456 or by email [email protected] and we will book you in at a convenient time that suits you.
Our designer will visit you to understand your storage needs, help with your desired door design and colour finish, creating the ideal design based on your choices you have made.
Our designer will also do a complete survey of the room/s taking accurate measurements which will save our clients’ time and costs. Unlike some other companies who try to sell their designs and products during their first visit without proper measurements, we will ensure accurate measurements so that you will not have to arrange a further surveyor’s visit at your cost if the original design doesn’t fit.

Do you use Computer Aided Design (CAD) to design wardrobes?
Yes, we do have CAD software which is specially created for Linnell Furniture. During your design survey, our designer will check if all details and measurements are precise and create a bespoke CAD drawing of your room.
Can I cancel or re-arrange my visit?
Yes, you can cancel or re-arrange your design visit by calling us 0203 123 456 or emailing us at [email protected] Our request is to give us as much notice as possible so we can free up appointments slots for other clients.
I am moving home, when should I book my visit?
We advise you wait until you have moved in so we can measure up properly. Our bedroom and home office furniture is made and fitted within 4-8 weeks, so you’ll be all set before you know it!
What is the next step after a designer visit?
Your designer will email you a CAD design of your room/s within 1-2 days with costs. Arrange a telephone call to discuss the designs and we will answer all the questions you might have.
I have a lot of items to store but don’t know how it will all fit into the space I have?
There is no need to worry, our experienced designer will help explore all the design options that fit the room based on all your storage needs.
How quickly can you deliver and fit my new bedroom or office?
Lead times vary throughout the year depending on how busy we are and how quickly the factories can deliver the products. We are usually able to install a bedroom or home office within 4-8 weeks after placing an order with us. Our designer will be able to advise you on a more accurate timing.
When do I need to pay?
This will vary depending on the type of service/products you have purchased from us. Please, speak to one of our designers who will be able to advise you on payment dates.
How can I prepare for Delivery?
Our delivery team will bring all necessary pieces and carefully place them into the room and area where the furniture will be installed. Our request is to clear the area where your wardrobes or office will be built and also roll back carpets so that the wardrobes can be built onto the floor boards.
How long will it take to install my bedroom or home office?
On average, a bedroom or home office takes 1-2 days to install, depending on size and design.
What are your guarantees?
We’re so confident that your new bedroom or home office is manufactured to the very highest standard, that we guarantee all our products for a full 5 years. And, on top of that, we also guarantee our workmanship for 2 years which means, if any defects, caused by workmanship, are noticed within 2 years of the installation, we’ll put it right.
